SUMMARY:14th Annual Champions for Children Conference
DESCRIPTION:Training Overview\nThe Children’s Advocacy Centers of Illinois (CACI) is committed to promoting excellence in Illinois Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) through leadership\, education and collaboration; providing training opportunities to strengthen CACs and multi-disciplinary partners\, in accordance with the best practices and National Children’s Alliance standards for accreditation\, which result in better service to Illinois children and their families. \nCACI is excited to bring you the 2023 Champions of Children Conference! This 3-day\, five separate track\, hybrid experience\, brings you nationally renowned experts in the field of child abuse\, and is purposefully planned for multidisciplinary members and their specific discipline. View the brochure here. \nBoth in-person and virtual experiences are offered. Limited sessions will be available for participants to access after the conference for 30 days. Links will be provided via email\, at the close of CofC23. \nRegister via CACI\nRegistration closes February 13\, 2023. \nContinuing Education Credit Information\n\nCEUs are ONLY available for live sessions and only given for paid MCLE credits prior to the conference\nIf you are seeking CEUs for social workers/therapists you will receive a form after the conference to mail into Northern Illinois University requesting those CEUs. Along with that form you will have to mail in a $9 check.\nThe Illinois Law Enforcement Training & Standards Board is pending approval\, session will be approved closer to the conference Mandated Training Requirements for the 2023 Champions of Children Conference!\nAttorneys who paid the attorney pricing\, their MCLE credits will be sent within two weeks from the close of the conference.\n\nRemember:  Credits will only be given for the live sessions.\nHotel Information\nLoews Chicago O’Hare:  Rate: $139/night  Self Parking:  $18/night. Registration is the responsibility of the individual. Room block name “Champions of Children Conference.”   The cut-off date for our room block is February 13\, 2023.   Reservations can be made:  via phone at (877) 868-9134 or via the online link. \nPayment Information\nCACI prefers that all registration fees are cared for at the time of registration via credit/debit card.   We do understand that this option does not work for everyone.  If you need to pay with a check\, please be sure that it is received at the CACI office (400 South Ninth Street\, Suite 101\, Springfield IL  62701).  Payment must be received no later than 10 days (3/1/23/) prior to the Conference. \nRegistration fee includes breakfast\, lunch\, live streaming\, if preferred\, and access to all recorded trainings for 30 days following the conference. \nOnline payment is preferred. If you need to send a check\, it must be received in the CACI office\, by March 1\, 2023.    Entry to CofC23 will be denied without payment\, or prior authorization. \nCancellation Policy\nWritten cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the conference (2/3/2023) are refunded less a $75 administrative fee. No refunds will be given if cancellation is not received within 30 days of CofC23. or if the registrant is a ‘no show’ and fails to show up for the conference. Registration is transferable to another qualified applicant.  In the event that CACI cancels the training for any reason\, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
