Event Description
The Midwest Children’s Resource Center (MCRC) will have resources available to all visitors at their St. Paul and Minneapolis campus locations lobby area to share about who they are, what they do, and resources for families.
About MCRC
MCRC is a child advocacy center (CAC) and clinic within Children’s Minnesota. They offer medical evaluations and case management in alleged child abuse cases, serious neglect and witness to violence. The program consists of:
- A medical clinic at Children’s Minnesota – St. Paul
- A child advocacy center (CAC), governed by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA), an accreditation they’ve held since 1994
- Connection with community resources to provide a team approach for child abuse cases
Their experienced team is dedicated to providing the following services to victims of physical and sexual abuse and serious neglect:
- Specialized medical evaluation and diagnosis
- Accurate identification and documentation
- Case management
- Psychological services
- Health assessments and supportive programming for at-risk youth
- Prevention education programs for parents and caregivers
