Sustainability of CACs in Minnesota

The Minnesota Children’s Alliance and children’s advocacy centers are not-for-profit entities. Our combined efforts mean that over 3,000 individuals receive people-centered services every year.

In Minnesota, CACs receive some financial support from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Gaps in funding persist throughout. Most centers are continuously seeking to increase service availability due to community need.

The Minnesota Children’s Alliance and CACs receive great support from community members like you, both monetarily and through volunteer opportunities. Many CACs also hold regular fundraising events throughout the year.

How you can help

  • Donate to the Alliance: you support helps ensure support in the wake of abuse.
  • Support-and-shop through Amazon: You can support the Alliance by designating “Minnesota Chapter of the National Childrens Alliance” as your selected charity. A portion of the purchase price will be automatically donated to the Alliance each time you shop.
  • Shop Bravelets: Support the Alliance through Bravelets, leather bracelets with the words “Be brave” engraved in a stainless steel plate. Bravelets donates 25% of your purchase to the Alliance.
  • Volunteer with your local CAC: Find a CAC near you and get involved in your local community.
