Applicant Eligibility

Overview

The Forensic Interview Training Scholarship Program will increase access to effective, trauma-informed forensic interview training for Minnesota professionals who interview children reporting abuse.

Scholarships are available to Minnesota professionals who are members of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), including child welfare workers, law enforcement, prosecutors, medical providers, CAC forensic interviewers and advocates. Training scholarships must be used for training in a nationally approved forensic interview protocol, which is vetted by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA) and aligns with best practices and trauma-informed approaches. Scholarship funds can only be used for registration expenses.

Applications are accepted through an online application system. You will be asked to set up a free account connected to an email address in order to submit your application.
