NCA AIMWell Informational Call

Training Overview

The AIMWell training equips Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs), Victim Advocates, and multidisciplinary team members with practical tools to ensure more children access and complete the mental health services needed for healing. Participants begin with a 4-hour training on the Care Process Model (CPM) Screener—a brief, standardized tool that helps VAs identify trauma symptoms, safety concerns, and mental health needs, while guiding meaningful conversations with caregivers. Trainees then complete four pre-recorded webinars and join four weekly live calls focused on strengthening collaboration, improving family engagement, streamlining mental health processes, and implementing evidence-based treatment pathways aligned with NCA standards. During the program, participants are expected to use the CPM Screener with families in real time.
