MAC | Loss of Life Cases: Advocate’s Perspective

Training Overview

Homicide cases are serious in nature and can pose several challenges to a victim services provider. There are many dynamics that should be considered and addressed in order to fully support survivors. This webinar will outline those dynamics and provide solutions and ideas for providing mindful, responsive, and comprehensive services and support. Kelly Nicholson has worked as an advocate in the criminal justice system since 1995. She began in the Anoka County Attorney’s Office where she worked for 11 years working directly with victims of crime. Currently, she is the Supervisor of the Dakota County Attorney’s Office – Victim Witness Program.

This webinar is free for all to attend. The webinar will be recorded and the recording will be made available exclusively for MAC members.
