Training Overview
Loss of life cases are serious in nature and can pose several challenges to a victim services provider. There are many dynamics that should be considered and addressed in order to fully support survivors. Hear from Kim Adams and Thelma Gaye, whose sons were killed by members of the same family. Kim and Thelma did not know each other before these tragedies, and since connecting over their losses they have become family to each other. Kim and Thelma come from different cultural backgrounds and their cases were in different counties, they will discuss the variations in support they received, and what advocates can do to better support survivors.
This webinar is free for all to attend. The webinar will be recorded and the recording will be made available exclusively for MAC members.
