It has often been said that a healthy relationship between the board chair and executive director goes a long way toward building an effective organization. Does this partnership take work? You bet it does, but it’s well worth the effort to help the nonprofit accomplish its mission, as well as to minimize the stress of the board and staff.
We recommend the nonprofit’s executive director and board chair attend this session together to explore their critical relationship and to discuss how they will support each other in leading their organization to success.
