Training Overview
Winter Webinar Week is a FREE training opportunity with some of CornerHouse’s amazing trainers. This is a week full of virtual webinars during lunch, where you can learn about a wide range of topics and ask any questions you have.
Forensic interviewers and members of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), particularly those new to the field or recently trained in forensic interviewing, may struggle identifying when or how to incorporate anatomical dolls within the forensic interview. This webinar aims to address those concerns as well as provide relevant research on the use of anatomical dolls. Making the decision to use anatomical dolls AND feeling confident to defend that decision is supported by research. The considerations presented will be general best practices regarding the use of anatomical dolls. Please join Izzy as she will share her experience as our newest CornerHouse Forensic Interviewer and her journey being confident and comfortable using anatomical dolls.
This webinar is not intended to be a full training on using anatomical dolls. This webinar is for forensic interviewers and MDT members who have some training in use of dolls and are looking to expand their skills, or for anyone interested in learning about anatomical dolls.
Learning Objectives:
- Gain an understanding of how anatomical dolls may be used within the forensic interview.
- Consider strategies for deciding when and how to use anatomical dolls within the forensic interview.
- Review some of the current research on best practices for using the anatomical dolls.
