Training Overview
Providing notification to victims when an incarcerated person is released or has a change in custody status is an essential safety tool for crime victims. In Minnesota, there are two statewide automated victim notification services: VINE for county jail and detention facilities and Haven for Minnesota Department of Corrections facilities. In this webinar, the presenters will review the features of each system and the process to request notifications as well as highlight their differences.
Minnesota VINE is administered by the Minnesota Office of Justice Programs, and Haven is administered by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
