Training Overview
This workshop prepares attendees to initiate and respond to sexual health conversations with children, youth, parents, and colleagues. Participants will learn how three practical tools — suspending judgment, applying sexual health principles, and using basic and specific sexual health terms — increase clinician confidence and client openness across the lifespan. Brief experiential exercises are woven throughout the training, giving participants repeated opportunities to observe and practice the foundational conversation skills required for trauma-informed sexual health work.
