Training Overview
With the prevalence of crisis and trauma situations we may feel the need to support colleagues who are struggling. Dealing with clients in crisis is generally something we do, but when it comes to supporting a colleague, we can be cautious: How do we handle these events in the moment? How do we ensure what we say is helpful, but doesn’t turn into a “session?” This comprehensive training equips participants with essential skills to support colleagues who are dealing with a crisis. Covering topics ranging from stress management to grief, the program empowers individuals to gain a holistic perspective and know how to respond adeptly with support and care.
This two-hour intermediate level, live virtual course is appropriate for social workers, counselors, psychologists, and other helping professionals.
