Protecting Victims’ Rights and Victim Voice During COVID-19

During this session, Professor Meg Garvin will provide an overview of victims’ rights laws, identifying key moments of risk to these rights in light of COVID-19. Special attention will be paid to how to effectively work with crime victims in the face of the ever-increasing use of technology by courts, and how to protect victim privacy during this time.
